Dramatic Coastline and Wildlife at Cornwall’s Western Tip
This walk from Sennen Cove to Land’s End is one of the most iconic stretches of the South West Coast Path. With crashing waves, open skies and dramatic granite cliffs, it’s a route full of natural and historical interest — and ideal for walkers of all ages.
You’ll have the chance to spot seabirds nesting on the cliffs in spring, while autumn brings migratory flocks and coastal winds that attract rarer species. Wildflowers dot the trail in warmer months, and if you’re lucky, you may even glimpse dolphins offshore.
There are several return route options, including a gentler one via the National Cycleway, suitable for trampers, wheelchairs and pushchairs. For those who want to go a bit further, Nanjizal Beach is just beyond Land’s End and offers a quieter, dog-friendly detour.
